Many Nashvillians may also remember the petting zoo on the Rudy Farm, host to many exotic animals including buffalo, llama and bears. For years, the Rudy Farm petting zoo was a favorite field trip destination for Tennessee schools. Although Sara Lee® Corporation now owns the Rudy’s Farm® name, the sausage is still being made with Frank’s and Dan’s original recipe and remains an American classic.
During the late 1990’s, Frank’s daughter (and Rudy Sister from the Grand Ole Opry’s glory days), Mary Frances Rudy, and two grandchildren founded Rudy Title and Escrow, LLC, with hopes to bring the family name synonymous with quality to the title insurance industry.
